The Spetool Router Lift package is a well thought out package complete with plexiglass templates for routing out a seat in a piece of wood for the lift kit should you not have a Pre-cut table ready for installation.

The lift is a heavy duty lift with a smooth action providing more than enough lift for any project. The lift easily fit my DeWalt DWP611 Compact Router. I have not as yet had a chance to try it out as I am looking to add dust collection and a miter fence to the package, but don’t anticipate any problems routing out projects in its current configuration.

I shopped for a router lift for months before choosing the SpeTool router lift. None of the other offerings were as versatile or as well made. I needed a way to use a Porter Cable 3 1/4hp router that is 4.2" in diameter, and most of the other lifts could not accommodate this large router. In addition, the SpeTool installation was very simple and straightforward. From the time I unpacked the parts to the time I had the unit in place and ready to use was a little over 1 hour. I installed it in a wing on my table saw using the supplied templates and it fit perfectly. I've been using the SpeTool router lift for several weeks now and I am impressed by how easy it is to operate and how accurate it is in use. Previously, I had a smaller router attached to a plate that had to be removed from the table each time to change bits or when adjustments were needed The SpeTool lift is much easier. I would recommend it to anyone needing an easy to install and accurate router lift at an affordable price.

This Router lift is top quality with a really accurate cut out jig which gives a perfect installation. I have just installed and cannot find any fault with this piece of equipment all the attachments are also top quality
If I was to suggest an added piece of detail that would add to the quality is to have caps to cover the bolts which bolt it down.

I originally bought my router and router table from a Big Box Store. The router table came with a stand, so you probably know which one I have. The fixed based routers are great for any work you need to set and route; not so good for making adjustments via hex adjustments.
The difference in working with my router is night and day. I can make the slightest adjustments and lock them in. Each pass is consistent from the first piece to the last. I have made micro adjustments that are dialed in on the first go. I am extremely satisfied with the results.

Très bien construit, tout en beauté avec des matériaux de qualité. C'est facile à installer et fonctionne avec précision. Je l'ai essayé avec mes deux toupies une petite toupie de 2 1/2'' et une de 3 3/8''. Aucune difficulté pour les installer. La seule raison pour laquelle je ne donne pas 5 étoiles, c'est parce que dans les deux cas la mèche ne se retrouve pas au centre de l'ouverture. Avec une mèche 1/2'' on peut pas utiliser la plaque avec le petit trou parce que ça frotte sur le côté, peu importe la toupie on doit utiliser la plaque d'insertion médiane.
