This product works great. A 40" workbench was just right, and so much cheaper than the $700 versions. The router slide is friction as opposed to bearings, but slides smooth regardless. Highly recommend for a hobbiest who occasionally needs to flatten a slab.
I initially purchased the 16” set but after using them I went ahead and got the 24” set. My only regret is that I didn’t get 2 24” sets rather than the 16” first. These are super easy to use for panel glue ups. You really need to have these about 12” apart to insure flatness on the panel. Can’t be glad about the cost, certainly not $200 plus worth of material and workmanship but they do seem to be built well. They should be chromed instead of painted as the paint comes off on the wood with the glue.
Very solid, zero wobble. FYI, the holes on the base are 20mm which makes it easy to integrate into an mft styler workbench
Very nace for making shallow ridges.
Works great from a clamping standpoint. However, the sales pitch says "Powder-coated surface resists glue buildup; any residue removes easily." Sure, with water and a sponge, I could rub off the glue that was stuck to the clamp.
My issue is that the glue stuck significantly to the clamp and tore wood from my glued up assembly when I separated the clamps from the assembly.
