nice patterning bit.

Nice little router bit. It is a big thick bit that will take a strong router to pull. I am using a 2.25 HP router and even that can bog down if I do not go slow or take shallow passes. I Also find it works best in a router table at 13k rpms. It gave me clean cuts and no deflection using a chair template on some nominal 2x material (pressure treated southern yellow pine). I did use multiple passes never doing more than 3/8 of an inch on each pass. It may have been able to go deeper but I don't like stressing my tools and am not running a production shop, so slow and steady for max tool life.

The genius of these bit sis if you manage to dull a carbide insert you have 3 more sharp sides. Likewise if you are using reclaimed material and missed a nail then chip a tooth you get 3 more chances to mess up before needing just a new available carbide insert.

Excellent Trim Bit

This bit makes short work of hardwood. Running some walnut through it produces a nice smooth edge. the cutters are easy to remove and shift positions and the re-index themselves nicely on the holder. It's pricier than your flat trim bits, but this will last you a lot longer since you can get replacement cutters for it. If will also last longer since the cutters can be repositioned when an edge starts showing wear.

Very nice flush cut bit

This looks a bit like art - its really well designed and made

It runs well balanced and with the staggered cutters, actually cuts more smoothly than a typical two edged cutter - and the chips are smaller.

It does seem to have a more limited depth of cut you can make in a single pass but that's ok - its still effective and easier to control (still not a bit for hand held operations)

Top and bottom bearings run freely - they are a little narrow but do their job fine.

Like spiral planers heads, this leaves a little bit different finish but its smooth and clean.

Very nice bit - and with the four sided inserts, its easy to have a fresh sharp set of edges whenever needed.

Very nice router bit

This is the first time I have purchased this style of router bit. First things first I don’t want to use it as it’s like a piece of art work. Looks like it was machined well and the carbide is razor sharp. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it yet but in build quality and looks alone it’s a 5star bit. Excited to have a job come up where I can use it and will report back on the quality of cut when I do. I’m expecting it will be smooth.

Awesome Bit

Wow, this is an awesome attention getting router bit! It's quite large and the carbide cutting inserts are all very sharp, so handle with care!. Both bearings, top & bottom, spin very freely and the bit is well balanced when tested on my table. I had never used a bit this large and have to admit was a little intimidated when first spinning it up. I quickly got over the nerve issue after experiencing how smoothly it cut with only taking off a small amount of material each pass. I love the idea of being able to rotate the cutters (4 times) to a new blade edge when getting dull or chipped. This bit & cutters should last a very long time before having to replace. There defiantly won't be any hand holding router work with this bad boy!
